Author Guidelines

Please read the About the Journal and Submission Preparation Checklist sections before offering submissions to ensure this Journal is appropriate for your work. Understanding the bibliographic and formatting standards used for items submitted to IJPJ is essential.

Submissions should include front matter, such as manuscript title, author name(s) and contact information, author bios, an optional cover letter, and an abstract of the article (no more than 200 words). This information must not be included in the manuscript itself when it is uploaded into the system.

  • Footnotes/Endnotes: Please do not use footnotes or endnotes; please incorporate all relevant information into the body of the article.
  • Figures, Tables, and Exhibits: Do not include graphs or statistical tables unless necessary for clarity. Tables, figures, and exhibits should comply with APA formatting. All figures, tables, and exhibits should have short, descriptive titles and must be called out in the text.

First-Time Authors: It is a daunting task preparing your first article for publication.  May we suggest the following series on Preparing a Manuscript for International Journals, where a seasoned editor Angel Borja, Ph.D. provides suggestions and advice to assist you:

Author(s) is (are) encouraged to recommend reviewers.

Authors must ensure reasonable steps to identify and prevent the publication of papers where research or academic misconduct has occurred. If a journal's publisher or editors know of any research misconduct relating to a published article, the Editor-in-Chief will follow COPE's guidelines in dealing with allegations.
